Authentic Persian Food at Mister Kabab (West Avenue, Quezon City)

Whenever we're craving for Authentic Persian cuisine around QC, we always go to MISTER KABAB :)

MISTER KABAB offers GREAT FOOD that will make your tummy smile and your wallets happy! ☺☻☺

You should try their YOGURT SHAKE (Php 45). It tastes like cold Yakult ☺
You can have it sweet or salty, but we always choose the sweet one.
They also offer fresh fruit shakes (Php 40), but of course, YOGURT SHAKE IS THE BEST!

Whenever we're here, we always order the same things:

OX BRAIN (Php 75) - it's like an omelet... only better! ☼

You should mix  their special yogurt sauce and red spicy sauce with the ox brain omelet to appreciate this dish more ♥
THESE SPECIAL SAUCES ARE L-O-V-E ♥♥♥

As for the main dish, we always order the SPECIAL BEEF CHELO KEBAB (Php 135)
It comes with one ground beef and one tenderloin stick, but we prefer 2 ground beef sticks instead.
The buttered rice is oooh-lala together with the grilled tomato and of course, with the SPECIAL SAUCES mixed together!!!

The KEEMA (Php 60) is also a must-try!!
It's soft ground beef, good for pulutan. We usually order extra buttered rice (Php 25) on the side for this one ☺
By the way, if you are a butter lover like me, you can order extra butter on the side as well for only Php 10!!!! yehey!

We also decided to order something else to try:

Chicken Liver Stick (Php 40) - yummy to the last bite!!!

My camera couldn't do justice.
Sorry, I think I need to buy a DSLR :p

SHRIMP and MUSHROOM (Php 95) - forgettable!

TIPS:
• They have a parking lot at the back.
• If the house is full, you need to go to the back to fall in line.
• They also accept reservations.

Bottomless Tostada Chips at Chili's

Looking for a place to hang out?
Chili's offers BOTTOMLESS TOSTADA CHIPS (Php 310)!!!!

It always comes warm with DIP ALL YOU CAN SALSA
But if you want to add cheese, guacamole or beef, that will be an additional order.

Just a warning: DO NOT... i really mean DO NOT order their guacamole .... it is the WORST guacamole I have ever tried.. EVER!

On the other hand, the PRESIDENTE MARGARITA (Php 275) was as good as ever.

Their signature drink was hand-shaken with Jose Cuervo Gold, Cointreau and brandy. MMMmmmm

We also ordered their ORIGINAL BABY BACK RIBS (Full rack - Php 840) but it was gone as soon as it landed on our table :p
Well, yeah, it was also good. I especially ♥ the buttered corn on the cob!!!
I ♥ it so much that I had to order one more (Php 75).

CRISPY CHICKEN SALAD (Regular - Php 260; To Share - Php 460)
"Crispy chicken breast with mandarin oranges, carrots, water chestnuts, red bell peppers, toasted almonds and crispy rice noodles."

My favorite!!! We ordered the regular portion.. it was superb!!!
The ginger-sesame dressing was the secret to enjoying this salad!!!
YUM YUM YUM!!!
TIP: you can ask for more dressing at no extra charge :)

BIG MOUTH BURGER BITES (Php 350)
"Enjoy a serving of four savory mini beef burgers topped with bacon, American cheese, sauteed onions and Ranch dressing."

This was one of the best burgers ever!! so juicy and the onion rings on the side were a perfect match!!! ♥♥♥

For dessert --- we had the CHOCOLATE CHIP MOLTEN CAKE (Php 385)
This was waaaaaaaayyyyyy tooooooooo sweeeeeeet for me :p
Not my type!

Bubble Tea at The Block

"Bubble tea is a sweetly flavored tea beverage invented in Taiwan. Drink recipes may vary, but most bubble teas contain a tea base mixed with fruit (or fruit syrup) and/or milk and also contains tapioca balls. These teas are shaken to mix the ingredients and the "bubble" moniker refers to both the foam formed in this process and the tapioca balls added to the drink." - wikipedia

I have always liked bubble teas and my cravings were always satisfied with Ersao in Banawe
But the Bubble Tea at The Block is way better than Ersao :)

Their most popular drinks are the milk based drinks; and, their bestsellers are Royal Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea. You can order them hot or cold.

The Royal Milk Tea (S-50, M-70, L-80) is the simplest one. It tasted like Teh Tarik with sweet sago or tapioca. I ordered the Large size.
The tapiocas used were a mixture of small ones and big ones, which added "fun" as you drink it.

The Strawberry Milk Tea (S-65, M-85, L-95) was SUPERB!!!
It was just the right sweetness and the strawberry was not overpowering.
There were bits of strawberries mixed with the tapioca as you sip the milk tea.

They also have Milkshakes, which was served with ice cream on top.
Price ranges from Php 115 to Php 145.
The Black Sesame Milk Shake (M-120, L-130) sounds interesting! Maybe I should try that next time.

TIP: you can add some extras such as egg pudding (Php 15) to your drink, or vanilla ice cream (php 15) too :) Mmmmmmmmmm

We also ordered food:

GYOZA UDON (Php 140) - 3 gyoza dumplings in miso soup with vegetables and udon noodle
The gyoza was quite disappointing but the soup was great with the sichimi red chili powder.

Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich (Php 155) - Teriyaki glazed chicken and lettuce with wasabi mayo

My friend loves this but for me, the teriyaki chicken was a bit too salty, probably because of too much sauce.

Chicken Teriyaki Doria (Php 185) - Teriyaki chicken on baked rice with melted mozzarella cheese

No, we are not a fan of teriyaki chickens :p
This was a mistake order and we decided to get it instead of returning it.
The cheese was a good neutralizer with the teriyaki sauce because the sauce was too much for me.
I couldn't even taste the chicken anymore.

I'll stick to their drinks next time :p
