Birthday Treat at Krocodile Grille, EDSA Shangri-La

One thing's for sure!!!
WE LOVE TO EAT!!!!

hehehe

Being on a tight budget, it's hard to look for a cheap eat in Shangri-La mall...
Labsy and I kept on looking from one restaurant to another to check on their menus.

Just when I was about to give up and decide to just go somewhere else to eat, he suggested that we go outside and look for more restaurants.

Viola!!!
We ended up at Krocodile Grille!!!
great place for BARKADAs...

we reserved the place for dinner and did some window shopping while waiting for our friends.

As soon as we got to the place, we were promptly seated on our table; however, i didn't like the table in the corner since it was so dark and I saw a couple of mosquitoes flying around.
The manager was kind enough to transfer us to a nicer spot in the room :)

Maricris and Ken came first!
They brought a super yummyliscious SANSRIVAL CAKE!!!
(Ken owns a coffee shop near UST and has the same cake supplier as STARBUCKS.. and guess what?? he sells them at a CHEAPER price!!!) YUM YUM YUM!!!

Lily and Reagan arrived next and of course, last but not the least, Marianne :)
ok we're settled then!

ORDER ORDER!!!

of course, I just had to order my CHICHARON BULAKLAK (Php 175)!!!
it's just so irresistable. Seeing it in the menu makes me drool already hihihi

Davis wanted the SALTED SPICY SQUID (Php 140)
EVERYbody wanted the PORK SISIG (Php170)
Reagan suggested we order the SIZZLING KANGKONG with GARLIC (Php 110) and SIZZLING LITID (Php 140)
I ordered the INIHAW na PUSIT (Php 135) because I remembered Reagan likes the Inihaw na Pusit of Gerry's Grill.
We all ordered GARLIC RICE (Php 35) to complement the rest of the food we ordered :)
Ken chose the soup- CLAM CHOWDER SOUP (Php 135)
and of course, Lily would never forget to order her chicken - CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN (Php 215)

as for drinks:
Bottomless Iced Tea costs Php 50 each
and a bottle of San Mig Light is also Php 50 (not bad, eh?)

The verdict:

CHICHARON BULAKLAK - too crispy. It would have been heaven if they left some juicy fat though

SALTED SPICY SQUID - just perfect!

PORK SISIG - it was okay. I've tried some which are better :)

SIZZLING KANGKONG with GARLIC - yum yum!

SIZZLING LITID - sauce pa lang, ulam na! hahahaha

INIHAW na PUSIT - very disappointing! it was 2 baby squids.. that's it! What can you expect anyway? the price is cheap! hehehe but it was good :)

GARLIC RICE - garlic rice!

CLAM CHOWDER SOUP - lots of clams inside and one order's more than enough for all 7 of us :)

CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN - juicy but not much meat :)

OVERALL:
OUR TUMMIES WERE VERY HAPPY INDEED!!!
Also, we ate the cake that Maricris and Ken brought and it was the perfect ending dessert for our sumptuous meal!
oh! and we weren't charged for bringing and eating the cake there :)

Our total bill was less than Php 2000, including tip :)
