Xtremely Xpresso Cafe has 2 branches - one in Subic Bay Freeport Zone and another in SM City Clark.
We had lunch at the Xtremely Xpresso Cafe in Subic last holy week.
The price was just right but we were VERY -- VERY -- VERY disappointed with the food :(
The regular sized pizza is 14 inches at Php 499. We had 2 flavors - Spanish Sardines and Seafood Pesto. The cheese was overpowering the pesto flavor while the Spanish sardines was so-so in taste.
The pastas were so bland that salt and pepper could not even help.
The shrimp in the Seafood Oil and Garlic Pasta (Php 220) was "fishy" in taste and smell.
A complaint was made and they just gave a 50% discount for that dish alone.
The Crabby Fusilli (Php 220) was Xtremely Xpresso's version of Aligue Pasta and no one in our table liked it at all.
It was lacking flavor!!! Truly tasteless!!!
I like livers - Foie Gras the most so I ordered their Sherried (chicken) Liver Brochettes (Php 200) and was so surprised at how salty it was - like eating a bunch of salt!!! *elck*
Luckily, I ordered their refillable Iced Green Tea (Php 80) because I surely needed loads of refreshment after trying the Liver Brochettes.
The Chicken Cacciatore (Php 190) was okay, although it tasted like it was just pan fried with oil and butter instead of having it cooked with tomatoes, mushrooms and herbs and spices.
Our friend ordered the Pepper Pork (Php 180). What could possibly go wrong with a porkchop, right???
But hey, this one was totally messed up! Even the gravy was bland!!! hahaha
Maybe all the salt were put in the Sherried Liver? hmmm..
Lesson Learned!
No more Xtremely Xpresso Cafe for us!!
It was Xtremely inferior in Xcellence!!
wow..that was a hell of an experience.
ReplyDeletethey look so cool though.
can't believe it -_-
maybe it was because the restaurant was busy at the time of our visit?
ReplyDeletei dunno, but it was really an unpleasant Xperience :)
