Have you tried the BEST bimbimbop in the metro?
We did!!!
It's at CAFE MONACO, BANAWE!!!
The small restaurant is owned by a Korean and they serve Korean-fusion food.
While waiting for our orders, we were given a plate of kimchi and pickled radish as appetizers.
These are home-made specialties of the owner and are also sold in jars (by request).
The Beef Pita Pocket (Php 70) is a little sweet but is very very good!!!
The BEST BIMBIMBOP!!!!
You get to enjoy this big serving for just Php 130!!!
Once you have tried it, you'll keep on wanting more.
(you have to inform the server if you want it spicy or not)
If you're into spicy soups, then the KIMCHI CHIGAE (Php 170) is a must try!!!
Just be ready for lots of napkins.. *teehee*
(photo grabbed from this site)
I was never a fan of Gyu Nikuyakidon (Php 130) because I don't enjoy my beef sweet with rice but I must say that this is also good :)
Cafe Monaco's Ebi Tempura (Php 170) is worth every single centavo!
The breading is very crunchy, always served hot and the shrimps are always big :)
yum yum yum!!!
The restaurant also serve yummy and refreshing fruit shakes (Php 80) and desserts!
Their Halo Halo is definitely one of a kind with powdered milk chocolate, fresh fruits, milk and red bean.
So if you're looking for a good restaurant but you're on a tight budget, go to CAFE MONACO!!!
Your tummy will be so grateful to you after :p
