TAPEO: Where to go when you want to just chill and unwind

WHAT NOT TO MISS IN TAPEO:

MONTADOS (open-faced sandwich): Especially the platter of montados with callos, lengua, mushroom truffle with egg on top, and stewed beans. To die for!
CHAMPIGNONES: A small plate of fresh button mushrooms sauteed with fried chorizo in olive oil, garlic and red wine, served with crusty bread. This was my husband's favorite, which he craves until now.
CERDO AL HORNO (Crispy Pork Belly): A dish sent from heaven above! Over all of the wonderful dishes in Tapeo, this, I believe, is THE MOST AWESOME ever! Spiced pork belly, slow roasted for 3-4 hours to get that crisp crackling skin and the softest meat that melts in your mouth. That's not all, it is also served with the most delicious Spanish stewed beans and saffron rice. I am not exaggerating but this definitely is a WINNER!
MOJITOS: Just FYI, Tapeo serves one of the most refreshing and flavorful mojitos in the metro!
