Fish Out of Water - Greenbelt 5, Makati

The main reason why we chose to dine at FISH OUT OF WATER in Greenbelt 5, Makati was to try out their CRAB PATEROS that Lilan was raving about.

True enough.. it was sinfully good!!!

While waiting for our orders, we were given a plateful of thinly sliced toasted baguettes with a special pate.

The spread was really good so we had round 2 :p

Our drink: ORANGE and POMELO LEMONADE (Large - Php 345)

This was super refreshing. It tasted like freshly squeezed orange juice, no hint of pomelo though.
(But a FEW pomelo bits were put in our glasses before the juice was poured over the glass)

CHILI KANGKONG and SHRIMPS STIR FRY (Php 255)

Stir fried kangkong with garlic shrimp and chili sambal

The chili sauce was very pleasant! This dish goes great with plain rice. I wish they used soft tofu instead of beancurds.

RIB CROWN in HUMBA SAUCE (Php 445)

Char grilled baby back ribs glazed with black bean humba bbq sauce, fried oyster mushroom and banana chips

Very very filling!!! This was very nicely done - not overcooked and it had the smokey taste.

and the dish that we've all been waiting for...

CRAB PATEROS (Php 145 / 100 grams)

Crab sauteed in garlic, crab aligue and balut eggyolks

SINFULLY DELICIOSO!!! (but next time, I better ask them to put less salt because it was a little salty for us)............but still.. it was YUMMY.

Our crab costed us Php 1450. Fortunately, it was very meaty and FRESH.
