We're so glad we booked at Best Western Hotel Kota Kinabalu.
It was well within our budget (Thanks to Asiarooms.com and TripAdvisor.com); plus, the location was perfect!
Restaurants, shopping malls and convenience stores were less than 2 minutes away :)
Even the famous Sunday Market in Gaya street was just across the hotel!
We arrived at around 8:30pm and there was no one in the lobby to help us with our luggage (not that we expected any other extra service for the price we booked :p )
Anyway, the hotel had a mix up since we requested one room with two SEPARATE beds and one room with one Queen Sized bed.
This room was nice - it was spacious.
The toilet was small but it was clean and we had free toiletries.
The other room was smaller, but it was charged the same room rate (about Php 2300 per night, with breakfast for two - not bad eh?).
After the first night, we were given a bigger room with two separate beds:
Air-conditioning was great.
Also, we had free coffee/tea and two complimentary bottled waters.

By the way, don't forget to bring an adaptor because the hotel had a limited supply and it's hard to borrow one.

Food was good!!! It was served buffet style and there were plenty of choices!! It was so worth it!
All in all, I highly recommend BEST WESTERN HOTEL Kota Kinabalu!!!
