  6. I've heard great things about the food of K by Cunanan, so I was really happy to find out that they were present at one of the Bridal Fairs my fiance and I attended. But when I got to their booth, there was only one girl there, typing away at her laptop. And although we were standing there for quite some time, waiting to talk to her, she never looked up from what she was doing. So we decided to just go back later when she wasn't so busy. When we had finished with the rest of the fair, we went back to their booth. The girl was talking to two women, so we waited our turn. When she finally entertained us, our initial impression of her was that she was really cold and unfriendly. But we pushed on. So here's how our conversation went:

Me: Hi, I'm really interested in booking your catering for our wedding.

Girl: Ok. Here's our menu and price list. (Hands me the papers)

Me: This is great, but this is just for the buffet. We're interested in having a sit down dinner for all the guests. Do you have that?

Girl: Yeah, but that will considerably jack up the prices.

Me: That's fine, I was expecting that anyway. Also, we already booked Bizu as our dessert caterer, so I assume that will have to be taken out of the menu.

Girl: Yeah, but's that's just like P60 difference.

Me: Okaaay... Another problem we have is that we've been having trouble booking suppliers since our wedding date is so popular, Sept 10, 2011; 9-10-11. Are you still available on that date?

Girl: (checking her laptop) Oh. We usually only accept maximum of 3 bookings per day, and we're already fully booked na on that day.

Me: Oh no, really? Is there any chance you can make an exception?

Girl: No, sorry. But the following day, September 11, is still available. How about that?

Me: No. We already booked our church and venue. And we specifically chose our date because it's 9-10-11.

Girl: (Ignoring me) We're also still available the next Saturday, September 17. Gusto mo?

Me: No. We are not going to change the date of our wedding.

Girl: (stares at me like she could care less)

At this point, my fiance has also gotten pretty irritated at her attitude. He says, "Never mind na lang, we'll just find another caterer." I thank the girl, and we leave. She goes back to typing on her laptop.

My fiance and I are so pissed that we kind of lost the mood to hang around any longer. We find the friends we came with and say our goodbyes. I decide to go back to the K by Cunanan booth to give the girl a piece of my mind, but she was gone. The only one left behind was a security guard. I ask the guard for the name of the girl who was manning the booth, and he gave it to me. This happened seven months ago, and I still remember her name. I look forward to the opportunity to speak to someone from K by Cunanan so I can report this person. Not only was she rude and unfriendly, she kept emphasizing the price issues like we looked poor or something, and worst of all, she had the gall to insist that we change our wedding dates just so we could book them.

I really really hope that K by Cunanan gets someone else to man their booths at bridal fairs, because this girl was really a nightmare. Who knows how many other potential clients she drove away? If you know someone from K by Cunanan who I can report this person to, please let me know. Thanks.

  9. Did that girl's name start with a 'k'??? She is kind of on the rude side nga...met her once...

Things i dislike about K by Cunanan AE's:
    1. they appear snotty and snobbish like if you're not from the same society level they just brush you off as unimportant
    2. Unlike Hizon's AE's, they continuously try and follow up with you and make you feel important as a client... K By Cunanan doesn't make you feel important...Given na in demand sila i guess so baka ang mind set nila is "you need us, we don't need you (marami pang ibang customers dyan)"
    3. very impersonal, no effort to make "personal" connections with couples

No contest though, masarap parin talaga food nila...will see how my wedding turns up. We got them...if we were riher, we would have probably gone for Bizu nalang, they have great reviews! :)
