Banteay Kdei and Ta Prohm: Buddhist Monasteries of Angkor

When in Cambodia, you should NOT miss these amazing Angkor sites. Definitely one of the highlights of our Cambodia trip.

Ta Prohm – Romantic Jungle of Angkor

Ta Prohm is the most famous temple of all Angkor temple sites. Because unlike most temples in Angkor, Ta Prohm has been left in much the same condition in which it was found. Overgrown trees and thick foliage give the visitors the feeling of being inside the jungle. Its romantic appeal makes it one of the most photographed place in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

But just to warn you, plenty of tourists flock the area so it is best to come during off peak season or either very early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

There are many hidden corners in Ta Prohm so be sure to make time and explore the “jungle”
